globalgrannies and you

My love for this beautiful earth has inspired me to begin this movement.

I know that your heart has drawn you here.

As we join together with love in our hearts, our world will be forever changed.

Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve arrived!

The goal of globalgrannies is to create a worldwide grid which will support and nurture humanity’s greatest possibilities.

My intention is that this blog will provide a meeting place for those who care to work together – healing, clearing, and easily empowering  ourselves and all of humanity.

globalgrannies pages (click on the tabs at the top of the screen to read each of them) contain basic information and will  give you a good understanding of the model we’ll work with as we join together in this way.

On the moving slider you’ll find lovely images, each with an affirmation.

Focusing  on the images and the words will bring you into resonance and truth. As women all over the world focus on them in this way, energy will build and confidence will grow.  Possibilities will abound!                                                                                                                                                                                                                        My blog posts will offer suggestions for group projects, ways that we can work together, with intention, to support and nurture humanity’s greatest possibilities.

Although each blog post has important information, I urge you to read the very first one, posted July 19: “If not us – then who?” which further sets the stage for this work we’ll be doing together.

Thank you for undertaking this blog, Hethyrre. You are such a blessing to me.

For other grannies out there, I wanted to share that I just got a bunch of new books. One is “Planting Seeds/Practicing Mindfulness with Children” by Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village Community; another is Buddha at Bedtime/Tales of Love and Wisdom for You to Read With Your Child to Enchant, Enlighten, and Inspire” by Dharmachari Nagaraja; and the last is “Peaceful Piggy Meditation” by Kerry Lee MacLean, which is a story book with delightful illustrations. – Cate

Thich Nhat Hanh is such an inspiration! You can feel his kindness as you read his words. In one of his books (sorry, can’t remember which one), he talks about having a room in your house where children or adults go to calm down. He describes a whole process that leads to peace and forgiveness afterwards. If you work with children, you would be especially interested in this idea. I will look for the book if you would like the title.
